This role serves as the primary point of contact for the client, ensuring compliance and coordinating waste, inventory, and logistics activities to support safe and efficient operations.<br><br>The ideal candidate will bring strong environmental compliance knowledge, leadership experience, and the ability to manage multiple operational priorities in a client-facing setting. We are solving tough problems through innovation and proven methodology-come be part of the solution with us.<br><br>Why work for Clean Harbors?<br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5</li><li>Focus on maintaining sustainability and protecting the environment</li><li>Competitive Starting pay, <strong>$63,000.00 annual salary DOE</strong></li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment</li><li>401(k) with Company match and Employee Stock Purchase Plan</li><li>Opportunities for career growth and development at all stages</li><li>Company-paid training and tuition reimbursement</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensure compliance and coordination of waste collections at satellite accumulation areas (points of generation) and provide oversight of multiple central accumulation areas. </li><li>Manage cradle-to-grave hazardous waste operations, including waste generation, storage, packaging, labeling, tracking, shipment coordination, and disposal. </li><li>Conduct waste profiling and periodic waste stream reviews to ensure regulatory compliance and the use of best-value disposal technologies. </li><li>Schedule and coordinate internal and external waste shipments, working closely with internal business partners, transportation resources, disposal outlets, and customer representatives. </li><li>Provide small-scale emergency response support during business hours, including the use of PPE as required. </li><li>Lead, administer, and support daily, weekly, and monthly site inspections to maintain compliance, housekeeping, and audit readiness. </li><li>Maintain program documentation, operating records, inspection logs, and other required records to support compliance and internal/external audits. </li><li>Present program performance, business updates, and service results to the customer on a regular basis. </li><li>Serve as the primary point of contact for customer representatives at all levels, ensuring strong communication, issue resolution, and end-to-end service satisfaction. </li><li>Coordinate logistical support and cross-functional resources within local and broader business networks to meet customer needs and maintain service continuity. </li><li>Maintain adequate levels of equipment, supplies, and materials required to support routine operations and special projects. </li><li>Support the customer with reporting needs, including waste tracking and other environmental compliance documentation as required. </li><li>Perform other related duties as assigned to support overall program success. </li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>5-7 years of experience in environmental services, hazardous waste management, onsite program management, or a related field. </li><li>Strong knowledge of EPA, DOT, and applicable federal, state, and local environmental regulations. </li><li>Experience managing hazardous waste accumulation areas, inspections, waste profiling, shipment coordination, and compliance documentation. </li><li>Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across multiple levels of a client organization. </li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities, make sound decisions, and work independently in a fast-paced, client-facing environment. </li><li>Proficiency with Windows-based applications and standard business/computer tools.</li></ul><br><strong>Preferred Qualifications</strong><br><ul><li>Experience managing onsite/InSite-style environmental programs at customer facilities. </li><li>Experience leading safety meetings, customer reviews, and regulatory or client audit preparation. </li><li>Experience in inventory control and point-of-use product tracking within an industrial, manufacturing, healthcare, or technical service environment. </li></ul><br>Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer.<br><br>Clean Harbors is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.
