This leadership role will drive quality assurance, quality control, compliance, and operational excellence across multiple sites nationwide. The successful candidate will travel across Canada to lead the launch of new on-site waste programs, develop and train management teams, and establish consistent standards, processes, and best practices across the organization. The individual will drive continuous improvement and measurable financial, operational, quality, and compliance results while partnering with site leadership to ensure effective program implementation and consistent application of best practices throughout Canada.
*Approximately 70-75% of the position requires travel throughout Canada. *

RESPONSIBILITIES
- New Program Launches - Revenue Enablement & Cost Control: Ensure operational readiness, accelerate speed-to-revenue, and minimize startup errors. Establish audit protocols and compliance requirements for new waste programs, support site launches, and train managers on program management.
- LOA Coverage - Revenue Protection & Business Continuity: By providing seamless coverage during employee absences, the role prevents service disruptions to protect contract revenue and reduces operational risk exposure
- QA/QC Oversight - Margin Protection & Risk Mitigation: Ensure Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and always acting in a safe manner. Through proactive quality assurance and compliance oversight, these managers prevent chargebacks, credits, safety incidents, and regulatory risk.
- Talent Attraction, Retention and Business Development: Support and train InSite employees at assigned locations and make sure staffing and employee skills meet customer requirements. Support business development by tracking daily goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in hazardous waste management or relevant environmental QA/QC program management.
- Travel Requirement: willingness to travel 70-75% of the time to support a broad range of customer locations nationwide.
- Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or a related field highly preferred.
- Proven ability to develop and deliver training on environmental health and safety and hazardous materials management.
- Strong understanding of provincial and federal compliance/regulatory standards.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
