This position is responsible for safely operating and maintaining heavy equipment on projects. <br><br>You would be supporting projects that require 100% travel. Availability is necessary for training starting in August with projects spanning August to November 2026(or sooner), with the potential to join our team in a permanent role.<br><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Competitive wage; </li><li>Company paid training;</li><li>Positive and safe work environments;</li><li>On-the-job training will be provided to all employees;</li><li>Travel and accommodations are provided;</li><li>Personal Protective Equipment is provided to all employees;</li><li>Various shift options (6/1, 12/2, 18/3, or 24/4).</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career.</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensure that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;</li><li>Operate a variety of equipment, including: Loader, excavators, skid-steers, backhoes and forklifts;</li><li>Operate a variety of high-pressure tooling (manual and automated), including High pressure pumps, dump gun, specialty tooling for exchanger cleaning, 3D/2D, hydrolazer and hydrotesting equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoot and maintain equipment through preventative maintenance;</li><li>Timely and accurate completion of all required paperwork. </li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>Full Class 5 driver's license is required.</li><li>Ability to drive a manual transmission is an asset;</li><li>Previous experience operating high pressure equipment required.</li><li>Ability to work with minimal supervision in a team and safety focused environment;</li><li>Ability to work in all weather conditions for extended periods of time;</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs.</li><li>Ability to complete a drug and alcohol test. </li><li>Safety tickets preferred (i.e., H2S Alive, ESC Fall Protection, ESC Confined Space Entry);</li><li>Common Safety Orientation(CSO) and CSTS required prior to onboarding.</li><li>Willing to travel for extended periods of time and work 8-13-hour shifts;</li><li>Flexibility to work day shift or night shift as required;</li><li>Previous shutdown/turnaround experience is an asset.</li></ul><br><strong>40-years of sustainability in action.
