RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate a variety of on-site equipment (i.e. roll-offs, pumps, vac systems, generators, bobcats, etc.) in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Identify equipment defects, abnormal operating conditions, or safety concerns and promptly report them for corrective action.
- Performs basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting within scope of competency signoffs.
- Conduct pre-/post-trip inspections and ensure safe, proper equipment operation, report issues promptly.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Valid Class 3 Operator's License with a clean driving record.
- Clean driving record and reliable transportation.
- Proficient in operating vehicles equipped with manual transmissions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Previous experience in the waste management, recycling, or environmental services industry is considered a strong asset.
