As a <strong>Forklift Operator</strong>, you will perform hands on operations. <strong>Truck To Truck Technician</strong> at our <strong>Charlotte, NC</strong> facility will be responsible for the movement and placement of waste from Clean Harbors' facilities and direct generators. Responsible for day-to-day planning, transfer, coordination, and execution of proper paperwork for Truck-to-Truck (TTT) drum management.<br><br><strong>Why work for </strong><strong>Clean Harbors</strong><strong>?</strong><br><br><strong>Shift: 7AM - 3:30PM (Mon-Fri)</strong><br><br><strong>Pay: $25/Hr</strong><br><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Monday-Friday schedule</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment</li><li>Group 401K with company matching component </li><li>Own Part of the Company with our Employee Stock Purchase Plan</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><strong>Essential Functions/Responsibilities:</strong><br><br><strong>Tasks </strong><br>&bull; Monitors and ensures that all key deadlines are met, and proper follow-up is implemented to ensure proper drum transfer compliance requirements; ten (10) day compliance periods. &bull; Communicate with proper management on issues related to compliance, Department of Transportation (DOT) and other issues that could impact the business and compliance <br>&bull; Coordinates with Corporate Logistics any issues that impact inbound or outside carriers. <br>&bull; Coordinates with local Logistics Manager and National Logistics any equipment needs such as: vans, box trucks etc. <br>&bull; Maintains TTT transfers systems, such as, Microsoft Outlook, Power Suite and Truck to Truck logs. Entries must be done timely and accurately. <br>&bull; Work closely with the facility on issues of rejects of drums or compliance issues in regards to compliance dead-lines. <br>&bull; Report and assist on any issues that may occur at the hub facility; such as, leaks, releases to the Health & Safety Manager or Compliance Manager immediately. <br>&bull; Assures proper DOT exemptions are utilized for proper transfer and management of TTT containers prior to departure from facility<br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><strong>Education/Experience:</strong><br><br><ul><li>High School or Equivalent</li><li>Fork-lift Trained</li><li>DOT training and knowledge of regulations</li><li>Manifest training and knowledge of regulations</li><li>Ability to work in a team environment.</li><li>Proficiency in Windows based applications</li></ul><br><strong>Physical Demands:</strong><br><br><ul><li>Requires color determination.</li><li>Requires standing, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching, speaking, listening, tasting or smelling</li><li>Requires sitting, climbing, walking, lifting, grasping, crawling, near vision acuity</li><li>Requires hostler training, moving trailers to dock, moving trailers around facility.</li></ul><br><strong>Clean Harbors</strong> has a commitment to excellence deeply rooted in a strong sense of tradition.
