This team member is responsible for Sets-up and operates automatic and/or semi-automatic machines and related equipment in a continuous production/processing operation. Monitors meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications. Reports any malfunctions or abnormalities and makes minor adjustments and repairs to equipment. Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. This includes, but is not limited to Nomex coveralls, a black belt, slicker suits, rubber boots, a fresh air breathing mask and escape pack and a hard hat.</li><li>Must be able to work under extreme climate conditions (excessive high heat index of 95+ degrees Fahrenheit, 98% humidity and subzero weather conditions) relative to geographic location.</li><li>Must be able to withstand exposure to dust, chemical and environmental, fumes (chemical and fluids), exhaust and highly pressurized fluids.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><strong>What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?</strong><br><ul><li>High School Diploma or Equivalent</li><li>Reliable transportation and Able to travel on short notice and for some duration at times</li><li>Ability to perform physical functions per Key Responsibilities</li><li>This position includes emergency response, a continuing condition of employment is agreeing to be on-call; on occasion working on weekends and holidays will be required; emergency response situations can extend beyond 8 hours, up to 12-24 hrs.</li><li>Perform physical functions per job requirements</li><li>Successfully complete a background check, drug test, and physical, by position</li><li>Specific vocational preparation includes classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained in other jobs.</li><li>Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.</li><li>Valid driver license and other requirements of company's driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business.</li><li>OSHA certification may be required for this job.</li><li>Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.</li><li>May have to provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)</li></ul><br><strong>About HPC-Industrial</strong> <br><br><strong>HPC-Industrial</strong>, a Clean Harbors company, is the premier industrial cleaning and environmental services company in North America supporting the upstream, downstream, and utility sectors.
