This role also includes hauling van trailers to and from customer locations and assisting with general facility duties when required. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and service.<br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br>Safely operate heavy-duty trucks, including tanker units and van trailers, in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies<br><br>Transport bulk used oil and oily water from customer locations to designated processing or disposal facilities<br><br>Perform timely and professional pick-up and delivery services<br><br>Load and unload materials using proper procedures and equipment<br><br>Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance<br><br>Maintain accurate driver logs, manifests, and required documentation<br><br>Follow all environmental, health, and safety regulations with strong hazard awareness<br><br>Deliver excellent customer service and maintain positive client relationships<br><br>Assist with general facility duties such as yard organization, equipment cleaning, and daily operational support<br><br>Report any incidents, delays, or safety concerns promptly<br><br><strong>Safety Expectations</strong><br><br>Always maintain safety as the #1 priority<br><br>Strictly adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements<br><br>Properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE)<br><br>Actively participate in safety meetings, training, and compliance programs<br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br>Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A (with appropriate endorsements preferred)<br><br>Experience operating tanker trucks, roll off trucks, and end-up trailers hauling bulk liquids strongly preferred<br><br>Clean driving record and solid knowledge of DOT regulations<br><br>Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and manual labor when needed<br><br>Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team<br><br>Excellent communication and time management skills<br><br>Preferred Qualifications<br><br>Experience in environmental services, oil recycling, or related industries<br><br>TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) Card is a plus<br><br>Work Environment<br><br>Combination of driving, outdoor work, and facility support duties<br><br>Exposure to varying weather conditions and industrial environments<br><br>Flexible schedule may include early mornings or weekends<br><br>Clean Harbors is an equal opportunity employer. <br><br>Clean Harbors is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation for individuals with disabilities in employment, its services, programs, and activities.
