This role is responsible for overseeing environmental and hazardous waste projects from quotation through execution and ensuring all work is completed safely, on budget, on schedule, and in compliance with all regulations, policies, and procedures. The position will also support operations involving chemical lab packs, waste segregation, and the handling, packaging, and coordination of hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials.<br><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority, and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Competitive compensation: $70,000-$80,000 based on experience. </li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment.</li><li>Group RRSP with company matching component.</li><li>Ability to participate in the company Employee Stock Purchase Plan.</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career.</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement.</li><li>Positive and safe work environments.</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Manage Technical Services projects from planning through completion. </li><li>Prepare quotes, manifests, packing lists, labels, and regulatory documentation. </li><li>Coordinate field staff, schedules, and operational resources. </li><li>Conduct project assessments and identify safety and operational requirements. </li><li>Handle, segregate, package, inspect, and profile hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials. </li><li>Ensure compliance with environmental, transportation, and safety regulations. </li><li>Support lab packs, waste collection programs, and customer site services. </li><li>Inspect containers and storage areas for compliance, leaks, and shipping readiness. </li><li>Support operational improvements and branch service initiatives. </li><li>Maintain strong customer relationships and resolve service-related issues.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>3+ years of experience in project management, environmental services, hazardous waste management, remediation, spill response, or related industrial services.</li><li>Valid Driver's License required and reliable transportation. </li><li>Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Experience with manifests, waste profiling, labeling, packaging, and shipping documentation preferred. </li><li>Education in Chemistry, Environmental Sciences, or related industry experience considered an asset. </li><li>Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. </li><li>Ability to work in industrial environments and perform physical job duties. </li><li>Ability to wear respiratory protection equipment (clean shaven requirement).</li></ul><br><strong>Clean Harbors Technical Services</strong><br><ul><li><strong>Waste Disposal</strong> - Comprehensive disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste at Company-owned facilities</li><li><strong>Recycling Services</strong> - Extensive recycling, reuse and reclamation options for materials such as solvents, chemicals, oil and electrical equipment</li><li><strong>Chemical Packing</strong> - Safe, efficient handling and disposal of the widest range of chemicals, including reactive and compressed gases</li><li><strong>Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Services</strong> - HHW collection programs of all types and sizes, facilitated by Clean Harbors expert personnel</li></ul><br><strong>40-years of sustainability in action. </strong>At Clean Harbors, our mission is to create a safer, cleaner environment through the treatment, recycling, and disposal of hazardous materials.
