As a Sawdust Driver for our branch in Chattanooga, you will be driving loads of sawdust from local sawdust producers to our facility using a walking floor trailer.
Pay: $26-29 DOE
Schedule: Day shift, Monday-Friday. OT and Saturdays as needed.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensures that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;
- Operates tractor trailer units and other vehicles;
- Collects loads and transports them;
- Adheres to weights and ensures proper utilization of the units;
- Placards vehicle in accordance to Company and Department of Transportation (DOT) requirements/regulations;
- Conducts pre-trip inspections and monitor equipment for needed repairs, keeping reports, turning in inspections daily;
- Maintains daily logs, time sheets, expense reports, dispatch and trip reports as well as vehicle inspection reports;
- Plant and drum processing, with some warehouse work required;
- All other duties as necessary.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Class A CDL required;
- Tanker endorsement preferred;
- Hazmat endorsement preferred;
- No auto restriction on CDL- need to be able to operate a manual also;
- 1+ years of driving experience required;
- Basic computer knowledge;
- Work well in a team environment;
- Ability to lift, stoop, bend, reach, squat for short periods of time.
