In this position you will operate different types of equipment on site. In addition to operating heavy equipment, you will be tasked with unloading waste from incoming trucks. <strong>Why work for HPC-Industrial?</strong><br><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5!</li><li>Competitive wages</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment</li><li>Group 401K with company matching component</li><li>Own part of Clean Harbors with our Employee Stock Purchase Plan (U.S. Only)</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement</li><li>Positive and safe work environments</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br>Responsibilities<br><br><ul><li>Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times;</li><li>Completes daily checklist as required for proper operation of the unit being operated.</li><li>Hands-on experience on operations of Decanter centrifuges, belt presses, filter press and ancillary equipment (pumps, conveyors, etc.).</li><li>Operation of special equipment, such as centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.</li><li>Operate 5K hotsy pressure washers.</li><li>Assures unit is never operated in an unsafe manner or in a manner which is inconsistent with Standard Operating Procedures.</li><li>Completes and submits all associated paperwork as required for waste tracking movements.</li><li>Assures that all containers are properly secured, i.e. chock blocks, jack stands;</li><li>Performs other duties and tasks as assigned from time to time by management and will be required by the needs of the Clean Harbors</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><strong>What does it take to work for HPC-Industrial?</strong><br><br><ul><li>Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on-the-job training and essential experience gained on other jobs.</li><li>Language proficiency: understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.</li><li>Valid driver license and other requirements of company's driving policy required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business.</li><li>Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.</li><li>May have to provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).</li><li>6 months plus of centrifuge operating experience preferred;</li><li>Ability to work in team environment.</li><li>Lift 50 lbs.</li></ul><br><strong>HPC-Industrial</strong> is the leading provider of environmental, energy and industrial services throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico.
