The <strong>Remediation Supervisor</strong> is primarily responsible for leading and supervising crews in the field at customer soil remediation project sites. 95-100% travel will be required to project sites.<br><br><strong>Why work for Clean Harbors?</strong><br><ul><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5;</li><li>Competitive wages;</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days of full-time employment;</li><li>Group 401K with company matching component;</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career;</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement;</li><li>Positive and safe work environments.</li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Ensuring that Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes and acting in a safe manner at all times;</li><li>Meet with customers as needed to ensure customer satisfaction and to resolve any pending complaints or issues;</li><li>Join a team with a focus on safely executing large technical remediation, environmental construction, and transportation and disposal projects across the country and internationally;</li><li>Work with a customer base across several business lines, including regulatory, government, and military;</li><li>Collaborate with other industry professionals across our Sales, Landfill, Incineration, Transportation, TSDF, and local office network leveraging the company's turn-key approach to projects and customer service;</li><li>Lead teams comprised of foreman, equipment operators, and other professionals;</li><li>Travel to new locations to meet customers and field personnel and see projects in action;</li><li>Work with the support from administrators, senior managers, and other support personnel and teams;</li><li>Additional annual reimbursement for maintaining certain licenses including a drone pilot's license;</li><li>Paid training and tuition reimbursement plus paid continuing education opportunities;</li><li>All other duties as required and directed by management.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><ul><li>Minimum High School education required;</li><li><strong>Experience in Civil or Remediation dirt/soil projects required;</strong></li><li>BS/BA in ASC or BS/BA Preferred;</li><li>Emergency response supervisor training and Marine Spill Response training preferred;</li><li>Knowledge of scoping and pricing Field Service work;</li><li>Knowledge of Federal, state and local environmental regulations;</li><li>Knowledge of various types of equipment;</li><li>Proficiency in Windows based applications.</li><li>3-5 years of experience in remediation or similar preferred;</li><li>3-5 years of experience in environmental field service operations preferred;</li><li>2-4 years supervisory experience preferred;</li><li><strong>Valid DL and acceptable MVR required;</strong></li><li>Ability to travel and fly is required.</li></ul><br><strong>Physical Requirements</strong><br><ul><li>This position is physically demanding, and candidates must be able to navigate varying site conditions where steep slopes and rugged terrain may be present and walk several miles per day. Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds unassisted and wear personal protective equipment, including a respirator, that may restrict movement, when required.</li><li>Requires walking and standing for extended periods of time, sitting in equipment that may vibrate or jostle, climbing and working at heights, pulling/pushing, carrying, grasping, reaching, crawling, stooping, crouching, and balance. Requires speaking, listening, understanding, and writing English; color determination, depth perception, clarity of vision, and 20/20 eyesight (corrected or uncorrected).</li><li>Maintains a clean and organized work environment, and a clean personal appearance. Facial hair must always comply with the company's respiratory protection facial hair policy.</li></ul><br><strong>Other Conditions of Employment</strong><br><ul><li>Complete an employment application and satisfy all employment requirements.</li><li>Pass a comprehensive pre-employment and annual fit for duty physical, drug screen, and background clearance.</li><li>Adhere to Clean Harbors' policies/procedures and maintain current OSHA 40, RCRA, DOT, and other training.</li><li>Have and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record that is satisfactory to Clean Harbors and be approved to operate light duty vehicles.</li><li>Must always demonstrate a professional standard of conduct.
