Responsibilities include, but not limited to loading and shipping finished product by truck, rail and/or barge. Blending lube oils for use in hydraulic systems, and shipping vessel inspections. Shipping bulk shipments of lube and fuel throughout the US and Canada keeping in compliance with Customs, Federal Railroad, Department of Transportation (DOT) and US Coast Guard regulations.<br><br><strong>Why work for Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors?</strong><br><ul><li>$26.35 hourly</li><li>Health and Safety is our #1 priority and we live it 3-6-5</li><li>Competitive pay and benefits</li><li>Comprehensive health benefits coverage after 30 days</li><li>Group 401K program with company matching component</li><li>Opportunities for growth and development for all the stages of your career</li><li>Generous paid time off, company paid training and tuition reimbursement</li><li>Positive and safe work environments </li></ul><br><br><b>RESPONSIBILITIES</b><br><br><ul><li>Inspects shipping vessels for suitability to load</li><li>finished products.</li><li>Inspects railcars and barges to meet the requirements</li><li>of Federal Railroad D.O.T. and the United States</li><li>Coast Guard</li><li>Operates the facility trailer dryer to ensure containers</li><li>are dry and clean.</li><li>Reviews shipping paperwork for product to be loaded.</li><li>Prepares paperwork for shipment, filing and</li><li>processing.</li><li>Calculates gallons and prepares customs documents</li><li>for export to Canada.</li><li>Trained in Confined Space Entry, CPR and first aid to</li><li>serve on Confined Space Rescue Team</li><li>Tests, LOTO and prepares equipment for repairs.</li><li>Responsible for work permits.</li><li>Loads requested products and volumes indicated.</li></ul><br><br><b>QUALIFICATIONS</b><br><br><strong>What does it take to work at Safety-Kleen, a Clean Harbors Company?</strong><br><ul><li>HS Diploma or equivalent</li><li>3 years loading bulk trailers and rail cars preferred </li><li>Accurate data entry skills</li><li>Plant type experience preferred</li><li>Must be able to complete basic math calculations</li><li>Experience using an iPad is a plus!</li><li>Computer literate</li><li>Proficient with MS Office Suite - Excel, Word and Outlook</li><li>Must be able to work in heat and cold</li><li>Able to communicate well</li><li>Must be able to follow direction and take initiative</li><li>Able to work independently as well as in a team</li><li>Dependable and punctual</li><li>Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, work at heights, climb ladders, bend stoop.
